Honorary Consulate of Sri Lanka in WA provides free of charge diplomatic services to Sri Lankans living in WA since 2015 and is entirely privately funded by the Honorary Consul.

Honorary Consuls are appointed by the state of Sri Lanka, for states and countries that are not represented by a career diplomat. Hon consul position is presented to an individual who has had significant achievements in the state or country they are residing; and the capacity of the Hon Consul to provide diplomatic services free of charge to Sri Lankans living abroad.

All expenses of the Honorary Consulate, Diplomatic or social, is a Privately funded service of Mr Rosh Jalagge and the state of Sri Lanka does not provide any financial assistance.
